Our hourly rate for service work is $85 per hour. At Cycle Care we are all about bikes – bikes are our only business - we do care and it shows. Our service staff are fully certified motorcycle and scooter mechanics with deep product knowledge on the Sym and Daelim brands we sell and service. Our charges are not based on actual time but are established by multiplying our retail labour rate by industry time allowances. If different or additional repairs are required above and beyond the original estimate or pre-priced service package, you will be contacted to approve any additional work and charges in advance of that work being performed.

Pressure should be checked regularly.

30 - 35 psi is the standard tire pressure.

Assistance is kindly given by a CYCLECARE representative or a gas station attendant.

Oil Level
| • |
2-Stroke cycles MUST be refilled with oil regularly.

Castrol 2T Oil, highly recommended, is supplied in our Helmets, Accessories & Parts Department.

Oil Level should be checked visually every 6-8 times you refuel your gas tank.
|
| • |
Oil Indicator Lights should not always be relied on as they tend to fail.
|

Change Engine Oil every 3,000 - 6,000 kms. Preferably by a CYCLECARE technician.

4-Stroke cycles do NOT need to be refilled with engine oil.
|
Brake Systems

Disc Brakes – lthough Many Cycle are installed with disc brakes which allow better stopping power, their brake pads wear faster than that of drum brakes.

Level of wear should be checked every 3 months or 3,000 kms. Preferably by a CYCLECARE technician.

Cost of Pads is insignificant in comparison to a scenario of failing brakes or the cost of replacing the disk itself!

Rust Proofing

RUST is the very nature of Bermuda's "island living" climate!

Bike Covers can be purchased in our Helmets, Accessories & Parts Dept. We recommend covering cycles that are parked outside.

CorrosionX of LPs Rust Inhibitor must be applied to all metal parts on a regular basis in order to extend the life of chrome and metal parts.
